The Spires of Faith Youth Group is for all High School Students in the Cluster!  Our gatherings include time for fellowship, games, snacks, prayer, learning, and growing in our faith.  We have a yearly retreat and attend the NCYC and Steubenville Conferences throughout the year (see below for more details on these conferences).  We do service projects and study scripture.  Teens are invited to join us for any/all events!  We can't wait to meet you!

Each July, teens from the Spires of Faith community are invited to embark on a powerful spiritual journey to the Steubenville Youth Conference in St. Paul, Minnesota. This dynamic weekend is designed to ignite faith, deepen your relationship with Christ, and connect with thousands of young Catholics from across the country.

ONE SUNDAY A MONTH     8:30AM MASS AT BASILICA    9:30-11:00AM SESSION FOLLOWS IN BASILICA BASEMENT

Jesus poured out the Holy Spirit upon the apostles on Pentecost, strengthening them to go out and proclaim his works to the world. Like them, we are called to live as active, spirit-filled disciples of Jesus. In the Sacrament of Confirmation our bond with Jesus Christ and the Church is strengthened by the Holy Spirit. We open ourselves to cooperation with the ever-present Spirit in a life of ongoing conversion within the faith-filled community.

Students in their sophomore year of high school will participate in their year of intense preparation for confirmation. This is the second year of a two-year process. The first year is completed through regular attendance at Faith Formation sessions on Wednesday nights or enrollment at Beckman Catholic High School. During the second year of preparation, there will be twelve hours of catechesis separate from the Faith Formation or religion classes held throughout the year taking place on Sunday mornings after 8:30 a.m. Mass in the Basilica of St. Francis Xavier. 

This will culminate in the reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation in late Spring.
