Located at 111 3rd St., NE, Dyersville, Council 1734, is the local council of the International Catholic lay organization and is open to all men ages 18 and older who are practicing Catholics. Founded on the principles of unity, fraternity, charity and patriotism, the KC's are dedicated to serving the mentally and physically disabled, the less fortunate, and the unborn. the KC's also promote vocations and support seminarians in the archdiocese. the KC's generate funds through various activities. Additionally, members of the KC's help with the mowing and trimming of the cemetery in preparation for the summer holidays. The organization promotes family oriented activities and fellowship for its members through its annual golf outing, bowling league, Christmas party, and more.
