Location: St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Church Basement

The Religious Education Program will be in a new format where parents work with child/children at home once a week online and attend in person with child/children at a once a month meeting at St. Francis Xavier Basilica. This program for 1st through 8th-grade students strives to deepen students’ understanding and practice of the Catholic faith. Religious Education classes are meant to be an extension of the catechesis done in the home and assist parents in raising their children in the faith. These classes also prepare our students in 2nd grade to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. We will use the Saint Mary’s Press eLearning lessons and various exploration activities to form students in their prayer life, strengthen their general knowledge of the faith, and foster excitement about Jesus Christ.
